Legacy Chronicle — Development Preview
Before You Begin
By recording your Chronicle, you affirm that you are here from a place of love — to share your story, preserve your voice, and leave something meaningful for the people who matter most to you.
"I am recording from a place of love. I want to tell my story, chronicle my legacy, and leave something meaningful for those who come after me."
Take your time. There's no wrong way to do this. Just speak from where you are right now — your stories, your voice, the things you'd want them to know. Come back as many times as you like. It lasts forever.
What this is
A Legacy Chronicle is a private, permanent place to store the version of you that exists right now — your voice, your words, your memories, your wisdom — sealed and delivered to the people who matter most at the moments that matter most.
You don't have to do it all at once. Come back as many times as you need. Each session adds another chapter. There's no deadline, no pressure, no wrong answer. Just speak from where you are.
The people you're recording for will treasure this more than anything else you could leave them. Not because it's perfect — because it's yours.
The part nobody tells you
The way you talk. What worries you. What you hope for. The version of you right now — at this exact age, in this exact chapter of your life — is someone your children will never fully know. Unless you leave them something.
You bought life insurance because you love your family. But the vault isn't about what happens if you're gone. It's about the fact that by the time they're old enough to really know you, you'll be a different person. Both versions deserve to be known.
You choose when it opens. Their 18th birthday. Graduation. Their wedding day. Or any date you decide. Sealed until then — not even we can open it early. Just your voice, waiting for the moment you chose.
Once your vault is set up, you can invite the people who love your family — grandparents, aunts, old coaches — to add their own recordings. The vault fills with voices over years. Every one of them preserved, exactly as they were.
"I could have recorded something for my boys when they were first born. It would probably sound different than something I'd say today. They could've heard their dad speak from the past — a version of their dad they would never know, only get to hear."
— The idea that started Tomorrow From Today
Your vault belongs to you from the moment it's created. Not to your agent. Not to your carrier. Not to us. If your agent moves on, if your policy changes, if the world looks completely different in ten years — your vault stays exactly where it is. Sealed, safe, and yours.
We never listen to, transcribe, or analyze any recording. Encrypted, sealed, and accessible only to you and the people you choose.
If your account ever goes inactive, recordings enter grace mode permanently. Grandma's voice stays in the vault no matter what happens to the account.
You have a private download link to export every recording whenever you want. Your data is yours. We just make sure it's always there.
What you're about to do is simple and it isn't.
The questions are straightforward. The recorder is easy. You can stop anytime, come back whenever you're ready, and nothing locks until you choose to seal it — and even after that, the door is always open to add more.
But some of what comes up might surprise you.
Some questions will make you smile — the good kind of smile, the one that sneaks up on you. Some will bring up things you haven't thought about in years. Some people cry. Some people laugh at things they forgot they remembered. Some say things they've never said out loud before.
All of that is welcome here.
You don't need to prepare. You don't need the right words. You just need to speak from where you are right now — because that's exactly who they need to hear from.
A few things that are true no matter what:
We will never listen to what you record. Not one word. What you say belongs to the people you named, and no one else — not us, not anyone.
You can come back as many times as you like. Most people record something, go live their life, and come back to add more. There's no deadline.
If something comes up that feels heavy — call or text 988, the free 24/7 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, anytime. Your Chronicle will be here when you're ready.
The people you're recording for love you enough that you're here, doing this, today.
That already means everything.
Now — whenever you're ready.
Not a form. A conversation. Here's a glimpse of what you'll be asked — no preparation needed. Just speak from where you are right now.
